When the same pattern seems to reappear in different parts of life, it can be tempting to describe yourself as simply an addictive person. That label may leave little room for understanding what is actually happening.

Change Addictive Personality is a self-hypnosis recording from Uncommon Knowledge, available through Hypnosis Downloads. Its theme is considering problematic patterns separately from your identity and exploring the possibility of change.

A product name is not a diagnosis

The phrase addictive personality should not be treated as a clinical diagnosis or a complete explanation of addiction. Substance-use problems and compulsive behaviours can have different contributing factors and require different support.

Points to consider

This broader recording may interest you if the label itself has become discouraging. Where a particular substance or behaviour is causing harm, specific assessment and care are more useful than assuming one general audio addresses every pattern.

The recording does not prove that addiction is only a learned habit, and it does not replace treatment. If changing alcohol, drugs or prescribed medicine, seek appropriate professional advice rather than relying on a general personality theme.
