Coming off alcohol can bring uncertainty as well as a wish to feel better. Before considering any relaxation recording, the first priority is a safe plan for withdrawal with qualified medical support.

Ease Alcohol Withdrawal is a self-hypnosis audio created by Uncommon Knowledge and sold through Hypnosis Downloads. The seller presents it as a relaxation recording for the period of coming off alcohol. That description should not be read as proof that it treats withdrawal or protects against complications.

Medical support comes first

If you may be dependent on alcohol, speak to a doctor or alcohol service before cutting down or stopping. Sudden withdrawal can be dangerous. Severe symptoms such as seizures, hallucinations or confusion require urgent medical attention through your local emergency service.

Points to consider

If your clinician considers the recording suitable, you could discuss whether it has a place as optional relaxation alongside your care plan. It cannot determine the level of supervision you need, replace prescribed medication or tell you when withdrawal is safe.

This page makes no claim that hypnosis shortens withdrawal, prevents seizures or makes unsupervised detox safe. The product name is the seller’s name for the recording, not a medical assurance from this website.
