A conversation ends, but your mind keeps replaying it. You may search for the moment you offended someone or wonder whether an ordinary decision caused harm, without reaching an answer that feels settled.

Overcome Fear You’ve Done Something Wrong is a self-hypnosis recording from Uncommon Knowledge, sold through Hypnosis Downloads. Its theme is persistent doubt and the difficulty of redirecting attention when you fear you have made a mistake.

Persistent doubt and genuine responsibilities

This may interest you if repeated mental reviewing is taking up time and causing distress. The audio cannot tell you whether a particular event happened or whether you need to take practical responsibility for something.

Points to consider

If the pattern involves frequent reassurance-seeking, checking or intrusive doubts, a clinician can assess whether OCD or another difficulty is involved. Recognised OCD treatment includes CBT with exposure and response prevention; this recording is not an established substitute.

Listening should not become a requirement for proving that nothing bad happened. If you are in therapy, discuss whether the recording fits your agreed approach to uncertainty.
