A clean home can be enjoyable. The difficulty is different when cleaning feels compulsory, takes over your time or leaves you unable to relax even after the work is done.

Stop Obsessive Cleaning is the title used on this website for a Uncommon Knowledge recording about compulsive cleaning, sold through Hypnosis Downloads. The seller frames the audio around responding more calmly to the urge to clean.

When the problem is the pressure to clean

This may be relevant if your concern is the repeated urge rather than organising a cleaning schedule. It is not a housekeeping course, a diagnosis or an established treatment for OCD. A product description cannot tell whether your experiences are part of OCD or another difficulty.

Points to consider

If the pattern is distressing or interferes with daily life, a professional assessment is a useful next step. For OCD, recognised treatment includes cognitive behavioural therapy with exposure and response prevention, often shortened to CBT with ERP.

If you are already receiving care, discuss any extra self-help with your clinician. The recording should not replace treatment or become something you feel you must use to make uncertainty safe.
