Pulling at eyelashes or eyebrows may happen almost before you notice, or after an urge that feels difficult to leave alone. The aftermath can involve soreness, visible gaps and frustration with yourself.

The eyelash and eyebrow pulling recording from Uncommon Knowledge, available through Hypnosis Downloads, focuses on this particular repetitive behaviour and the wish for a different response to its triggers.

A specific pulling pattern deserves appropriate support

Repeated hair pulling can be part of trichotillomania, including when the hair comes from eyebrows or eyelashes. That is something a qualified professional can assess; the behaviour should not simply be dismissed as a lack of willpower.

Points to consider

Recognised support can include CBT using habit reversal training. This recording is not equivalent to that treatment and does not establish that the pulling will stop or that hair will regrow.

If the area around your eyes is sore or damaged, seek appropriate healthcare advice as well. If you choose to consider the audio, its place should be optional self-help alongside care matched to the behaviour and any injury.
