Once you become aware of blinking, it can be difficult to stop noticing it. Before treating a change as an unwanted habit, it matters whether there is an eye-health or other physical explanation.

Stop Blinking Too Much is a self-hypnosis recording from Uncommon Knowledge, sold through Hypnosis Downloads. Its intended theme is habitual blinking and self-conscious attention to it, rather than assessment of an eyelid condition.

An eye check before an assumption

This may interest someone whose symptoms have been appropriately assessed and who wants to explore optional relaxation. Frequent blinking or eyelid movements can have several causes, and the recording cannot distinguish between them.

Points to consider

An optometrist or eye-health professional can advise about persistent symptoms, irritation or changes affecting your vision. Blinking has a normal protective role, so the aim should not be to suppress it indiscriminately.

The audio is not treatment for dry eyes, a neurological condition or involuntary eyelid closure. Do not rely on it to make reading, driving or another activity safe if your eyes are closing unexpectedly.
