InstagramA small uneven edge can become something your fingers keep returning to. You may notice the damage afterwards and wonder why an intention to stop was not enough in the moment.
Stop Nail Picking is a self-hypnosis recording from Uncommon Knowledge, sold through Hypnosis Downloads. Its intended focus is picking or tearing at nails and developing a different response to the urge.
Picking, biting and skin-focused patterns
This may be the more relevant theme if your fingers, rather than your teeth, do the damage. A separate recording focuses on nail biting. If the behaviour mainly involves skin around the nails, describing that clearly can help you choose appropriate support.
Points to consider
If picking is hard to control, a professional can assess the pattern and discuss strategies suited to you. The label bad habit should not be used to dismiss injury, distress or a body-focused repetitive behaviour that needs more support.
The audio cannot guarantee healthy nails, prevent infection or replace structured care. Soreness, bleeding or repeated damage deserves suitable advice, especially if you have been trying to manage it alone.

Frequently asked questions
How is nail picking different from nail biting?
Nail picking usually involves fingers picking or tearing at nails, while nail biting uses the teeth. Separate products address these themes.
What if I pick the skin around my nails?
Describe that specifically when seeking advice. A skin-picking pattern may need a different assessment or support approach.
Does this guarantee that my nails will become healthy?
No. It cannot promise recovery, prevent infection or replace care for injury and a difficult-to-control behaviour.
Where can I check the price and purchase terms?
The linked Hypnosis Downloads page provides the current price, product details, access information and applicable purchase and refund terms. That website handles the sale and supplies the recording.
