InstagramA suggested change in hand sensation may be an interesting experience for someone already familiar with hypnosis. It is not a way to establish that an injury or procedure can be managed without pain care.
Experience Glove Anaesthesia is a hypnosis recording from Uncommon Knowledge, sold through Hypnosis Downloads. The recording explores an imagined or subjective alteration in sensation described as glove anaesthesia.
An advanced experiential recording
The seller recommends it only for practising hypnotherapists or experienced hypnosis users. It is not an introductory lesson in clinical pain management, and any response does not establish professional competence.
Points to consider
Any exploration should remain comfortable and separate from tools, hot surfaces or other hazards. Do not test an apparent loss of sensation by causing pain, and do not use it to ignore an existing symptom.
The recording cannot provide medical anaesthesia, diagnose pain or replace treatment. Unexplained new numbness or weakness needs assessment rather than an assumption that suggestion is responsible.

Frequently asked questions
Is this recommended for someone new to hypnosis?
The seller’s recommendation is limited to practising hypnotherapists or experienced users. It should not be treated as a beginner’s pain-control course.
Should I test the effect with a sharp or hot object?
No. Causing pain or exposing skin to injury is not an appropriate test of a subjective response.
Is a particular experience or learning outcome guaranteed?
No. Responses vary, and there is no guaranteed effect or number of listens. A recording cannot provide individual feedback, supervised practice or a practitioner qualification.
Where can I check the price and purchase terms?
The linked Hypnosis Downloads page provides the current price, product details, access information and applicable purchase and refund terms. That website handles the sale and supplies the recording.
